FAQ
Questions, answered
Everything about how ApplyIntended behaves inside Greenhouse — including what it deliberately does not do.
- What does ApplyIntended actually do?
- You share a protected version of your job link. We check each visitor on the way through, then send them straight to your real application. The ones we read as human, we mark Likely-Human in Greenhouse so you can filter for them.
- Does it block or reject anyone?
- Never. Everyone continues to your application no matter what we conclude. ApplyIntended only labels — it cannot remove someone from your pipeline, and no applicant is ever turned away.
- What does an applicant have to do?
- Nothing at all. There is no click, no form, no account, and no puzzle. We do the work while they wait a moment, then forward them to the same application they were headed to.
- What does “Likely-Human” mean in Greenhouse?
- It is a source we set on the application at redirect time — not something the applicant sees, types, or can fake. Filter for it to decide what to review first.
- If someone is not marked, are they a bot?
- No, and this matters. Unmarked only means we did not mark them — which includes people who found the role another way, such as a saved link, an aggregator repost, or a share before you switched links. Filter for the signal; never filter against its absence.
- Will this overwrite my source attribution?
- Our marking travels in the source field, so we add a “Where did you find our job post?” question during setup to preserve channel attribution. Anyone we do not mark keeps whatever source Greenhouse would normally record.
- What happens when I pause a link?
- We stop checking and send visitors straight to your original application. You never update a link anywhere, the role stops counting toward your plan, and your history stays intact. Unpause whenever you like.
- Do I have to change my job posts?
- You replace each job link once with its protected version, then keep using that same URL everywhere. Setup adds one application question in bulk, and a template job means future roles inherit it automatically.
- Which ATS do you support?
- Greenhouse today. Lever, Ashby, Workable, Personio and Jobvite are next — each needs its own integration, because every ATS handles attribution differently.
- Do you charge per applicant?
- No. Applicants are unlimited on every plan, including Free. You are only ever paying for how many roles you protect at once, so a role going viral never changes your bill.
